Monitoring

Monitoring Centre	Our monitoring Centre is ULC listed. The staff is professional, helpful and courteous. The Centre is equipped with some of the most advanced systems available to the industry. They have the ability to monitor DVAC systems, Digital signals, two way voice, GSM (cellular) and IP (Internet) systems.
Insurance Certificate	When requested we will issue a Monitoring Certificates on your behalf to your insurance company so long as we are monitoring your system. With this certificate You could receive up to a 20% discount on your premise insurance.
Service Protection Plan	This plan is designed to help keep your service costs down. Here is how the plan works. Any warranty service calls from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday excluding holidays will be at no charge for the labour parts are extra. System changes or damage due to neglect, misuse, vandalism or acts of God are not covered. Depending on your area, a truck charge may apply. This plan is included with your monitoring of your Residential and Small Commercial systems only. Service and Maintenance plans are available for all others at a cost.
Guard Response	In today's environment the Police are trying to give the community the best service they can within the budget that they have been given. This has effected many areas of their service including alarm response. Your area may have an alarm permit system or a dispatch charge (City of Toronto about $80.00 for each false alarm) that you have to pay. We have looked at the ways that alarms are being responded to and decided to offer a Guard response service with our alarm monitoring for $5.00 per month or $45.00 per dispatch. This service may not be available in all areas that we service.
Medical Monitoring	The CareGard Response Systems are monitored through a digital (regular phone line) receiver. This allows the operator can speak directly to you through the main panel. This connection can only be made when an alarm signal such as a pendant alarm has been triggered. With the monitoring fee we include a rental fee for the CareGard system. The system is available on a monthly bases with a minimum of 3 months rental. Contact our Sales Department if you wish to purchase the System for pricing and monitoring rates. Medical Monitoring $33.89 per month.
Residential Monitoring Digital	Our residential monitoring includes daily tests signals, monitoring of Burglary, Fire, Panic and Trouble conditions. Systems that were installed and are monitored by Argus include our Service Protection Plan. Thinking of changing your monitoring company, the Service Protection Plan is available to you as well. We need to do a full inspection of your system to make sure that your existing equipment is installed and working properly to make this program available to you. There is a service charge to do this inspection. Residential Monitoring $24.95 per month. Guard Response is an additional $5.00 per month. GSM back-up from an additional $9.95 per month. (equipment at additional cost)
Commercial Monitoring Digital	Our digital Commercial monitoring includes daily tests signals, monitoring of Burglary, Fire, Panic, non supervised open & close and Trouble conditions. Small commercial systems that were installed and are monitored by Argus include our Service Protection Plan (Small Commercial only). Thinking of changing your monitoring company, the Service Protection Plan is available to you as well. We need to do a full inspection of your system to make sure that your existing equipment is installed and working properly to make this program available to you. There is a service charge to do this inspection. Commercial Monitoring $24.95 per month. Guard Response is an additional $5.00 per month. Open & Close reports is an additional $7.50 per month. GSM back-up from an additional $14.95 per month. (equipment extra)
GSM Monitoring	Back-up Communicator A GSM Communicator is monitored through the Cellular network at the Monitoring Centre. This form of monitoring is an excellent back up to a digital system. Should your phone line go down, the GSM Communicator will take over and transmit all the signals to the monitoring Centre. Primary Communicator There are many reasons that you may choose a GSM Communicator as your primary form of communication with the Monitoring Centre. VOIP (voice over the Internet) phone systems has becoming very popular in the last few years. Unfortunately many alarm communicators do not work through this medium leaving GSM as the obvious choice. Want an alarm at the cottage, but you don't have a phone line, no problem so long as your Cellular phone works at the cottage chances are the GSM Communicator will work to. Have a storage unit, so long as you have power and your Cellular phone works inside the unit we can put in an alarm and a GSM Communicator. There are many other times that you just don't have a phone line and you need to have an monitored system, GSM will work for you (where cellular network is available). Back-up communication from an additional $9.95 per month (equipment at additional cost). Primary form of communication from $34.95 per month.(equipment at additional cost).
Commercial Monitoring Internet & GSM	As the name indicates this service works within the Internet to communicate with the Monitoring Centre. GSM System is monitoring through the Cellular network to the Monitoring Centre. By combining these two mediums we can supply you with a superior monitoring system. Certain combined Internet, GSM communicators are ULC Listed. Internet & GSM communication $69.95 per month.
